Our History

Cooks Confectionery began way back as Cooks Foods in 1986. Changing it’s name to Cooks Confectionery in the late 90’s, better representing its core focus of producing quality Sugar Paste products, Fudges and Hard Boiled candies.

Cooks continued this path until the late 2000’s when Fudges & Boiled lollies made way for Toffee Brittles, laying the foundations of what was to come for the net decade. A new Chocolate production and enrobing line was installed enabling the early development of Toffee Brittle bars and Chocolate products.

Today, Cooks Confectionery is the single largest volume producer of Toffee Brittles in Australia touching every corner of the country with either it’s private label offerings or it’s famous Scorched Peanut Bar lines. Furthering this success, Cooks is now exporting the famous Bar to New Zealand, USA and soon Canada, China and South East Asia.
